What's your lead time?
I typically need 2-4 months notice on cake orders.

How much are your cakes?
The minimum price for any cake is $500. Because all of my cakes are priced individually by the complexity of their design, I do not have a standard price list.

How do I order a cake?

>>Larger cakes-more than 75 people

Email the following information to: kathy@calamitycakes.com

• the date of your event
• the occasion/nature of your event (wedding, bat mitzvah, etc)
• the event location and delivery time
• how many people you will need to feed
• your daytime phone number
• your email address

We will contact you to to discuss your order.

At your appointment, we will get to know you and your event and sketch out your cake. There is a 50% non refundable deposit required to hold the date.

>>Smaller cakes

If you are looking for a birthday or other special occasion cake (smaller than 75 people) think about what would be fun, creative, and really say something about the person who you are getting the cake for. After you have any idea of what'd you like, email us the following information:

• the date of your event
• what you have in mind for the design. More specific the better.
• the event location and delivery time
• how many people you will need to feed
• your daytime phone number
• your email address

For smaller cakes (less than 75 people) I can take order over the phone or by email. Design and tasting appointments are held for wedding and larger cakes orders only.

What's your payment policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your order; the remainder is due at least two weeks prior to your event.

Your order is not confirmed until we have received your signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit.

Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card (Cash, Check or Paypal). Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require payment in full by credit card at the time of ordering.

There is no refund on orders canceled within 5 business days of the event date.

Do you deliver?
Yes. I always deliver my cakes. There is NO pickup service. Delivery price is included in the quote.
